The youngest was Butch Wynegar at 20 years, 70 days on September 22nd, 1976, per Baseball Reference Note: this list only extends to 2010, but Salas was the youngest catcher to debut since Iván "Pudge" Rodriguez debuted in 1991. EDIT: I WAS WRONG :( I read Wynegar's age decimal as a fraction rather than number of days. Wynegar was older.
