Teruaki Sato wins the 2026 Triple Crown

Sato led all of the Central League with a .306 BA, 39 homeruns, and 106 RBI, becoming the ninth player in NPB history to achieve the feat and first Hanshin Tiger since Randy Bass in 1986. This represents the latest accolade for the reigning CL MVP, four-time All-Star, and 2023 Japan Series champion. Widely expected to be posted this offseason, Sato has been reported to attract interest from the Dodgers, Mets, Blue Jays, Yankees, and Phillies. submitted by /u/TheOnceProud [link] [comments]
