Tarik Skubal to start Game 1 for Dodgers as L.A.’s pursuit of another World Series title begins

“For the Dodgers, the decision on who would start Game 1 on Saturday had no wrong answer. Such is the luxury of having one of the greatest rotations assembled in modern history. Skubal earned the nod over reigning World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto, fellow two-time Cy Young winner Blake Snell and All-Star right-hander Tyler Glasnow. “To be honest, we can kind of really put all four guys in a hat and run them out there,” manager Dave Roberts said earlier this week.” submitted by /u/mtportales [link] [comments]
