Who are your lesser known guys that did great this year?

This is the yearly post to celebrate lesser known people who ended up exceeding your expectations. They won't win any awards and the media won't talk about them much but still deserve some recognition from fans and ball knowers. This can be people you thought were toast who turned the clock back, unheralded bullpen or end of the rotation guys that were just rather solid this year, or utility guys that ended up helping the team more than you'd expect.
