Aaron Donald will travel with the Los Angeles Rams to Australia for their Week 1 season opener against the San Francisco 49ers, head coach Sean McVay confirmed Friday. However, whether Donald will actually play in the game remains undetermined, per multiple reports.
McVay told reporters he expects every player on the Rams roster to make the trip to Melbourne. Donald, who recently retired, is included in those travel plans. But according to Ian Rapoport, Donald is still "TBD" for his Week 1 availability. One source noted that "his status would be obvious if he wasn't traveling; right now anything is possible."
The Rams open the 2026 season against San Francisco next Thursday in Australia.
