The Chicago Bears and running back D'Andre Swift have agreed to a three-year contract extension, per multiple reports. ESPN's Adam Schefter first reported the deal on Friday.
The extension is worth $33.75 million with $27.5 million guaranteed, according to reporting from NFL Trade Rumors, Windy City Gridiron, and Sportsnet. That works out to slightly over $11.2 million per year. Swift was entering the final year of his previous contract with the Bears before the extension.
Bears GM Ryan Poles acknowledged earlier that a Swift extension was under consideration. Swift becomes the latest key Bears player to receive a contract extension this offseason.
