Lions head coach Dan Campbell drew a comparison between quarterback Jared Goff and Drew Brees on Wednesday, saying the former reminds him of the Saints legend. Campbell was briefly Brees' teammate in New Orleans and served on the Saints' coaching staff during the last five seasons of Brees' career.

"His processing speed reminds me of Brees," Campbell said, according to reporting. "And every year it's gotten faster and faster. And then watch him under duress. Nobody makes a more accurate throw under duress than Jared Goff."

Campbell's comments come ahead of the Lions' Week 1 matchup against the Saints at Ford Field.
