Arnold, a former first-round pick by Detroit, was released by the Lions on June 29 and has since visited multiple teams. Per NFL Trade Rumors, he has already visited the Texans and Saints, and tried out for the Seahawks. The Seahawks' tryout was featured in the second episode of HBO's "Hard Knocks," which chronicled the team's training camp.
One outlet noted that Arnold is currently facing felony robbery and kidnapping charges, with his first court appearance occurring in late June after he turned himself in. The Giants' interest comes despite these legal issues, per Yahoo Sports reporting.
