Lamar Jackson was a full participant in the Ravens' practice on Wednesday. Pro Football Talk's Charean Williams, citing the practice report, said it was his first full practice since Oct. 2. ESPN reported the same participation level. Ian Rapoport, as relayed on r/nfl, described it as the first time Jackson has practiced fully since his ankle injury. Only the Rapoport item names the ankle, and none of the feeds we have gives a game status for Sunday.

The timing lines up with Jackson's absence from the field. Our logs show his last game was Oct. 4 against Tennessee. He played four games this season and has none since. In that Tennessee game he went 15 of 20 for 222 yards and two touchdowns, with two sacks taken for 13 yards.

He was playing well before he went out. Through four games he has completed 68 of 96 passes (70.8%) for 967 yards, six touchdowns and one interception, with a 119.6 passer rating. He has also run 19 times for 144 yards and a touchdown. He has been sacked seven times, and 31 of the sack yards came in one game, against New Orleans.

Baltimore has struggled since he left. The Ravens are 4-3, fourth in the AFC North, and have lost two straight. They lost 13-10 at Cleveland on Oct. 18 and 35-13 to Cincinnati on Oct. 25. Their last win, 30-23 at Atlanta on Oct. 11, also came in his absence. The offense scored 10 and 13 points in the two losses, and Jackson would be the obvious fix.

A full Wednesday practice is a good sign but not a decision. The Ravens next play at Buffalo on Sunday, Nov. 1. The Thursday and Friday practice reports, and the team's official status call, will show whether he plays.
