The Nets signed forward Grant Nelson to a two-way contract, per agent Max Wiepking through Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. Nelson, a seven-footer out of Alabama, went undrafted in 2025. The Bucks signed center John Butler to a non-guaranteed training camp deal, per Eric Nehm of The Athletic. Butler, a 7'0" center from Florida State who went undrafted, had a 19-game stint with the Trail Blazers in 2022/23.
The Hornets continued their offseason activity by signing guard/forward Kobe Stewart to a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contract and waiving guard Jarkel Joiner. This marked the fifth consecutive day the Hornets added a free agent to a non-guaranteed deal with an eye toward G League placement. Stewart joins fellow recent signings Josiah Allick and others on Charlotte's 21-man offseason roster.
Meanwhile, Corey Brewer, the former NBA lottery pick and 13-year league veteran who served on New Orleans' coaching staff since 2020, is no longer with the Pelicans after the season ended in April, per Jeff Goodman of The Field of 68. Brewer has since moved to a new position, though details were not immediately available.
