The Baltimore Orioles have placed outfielder Luis Robert Jr. on the 10-day injured list with left hamstring discomfort, retroactive to Sept. 5, per MLB Trade Rumors. The team recalled right-hander Anthony Nunez from Triple-A Norfolk to take Robert's roster spot.

Robert's stint with the Orioles was brief. According to reporting from r/baseball, the outfielder was claimed off waivers by Baltimore on Monday and played in only three games before landing on the injured list.

The move comes as the Orioles navigate a five-game losing streak, per MLB Trade Rumors. In a separate roster move, the team designated right-hander Albert Suárez for assignment and recalled outfielder Rece Hinds, creating an open spot on the 40-man roster.
