Lamar Jackson will miss the Ravens' Week 6 game at the Browns with an ankle injury, per Yahoo Sports. It is his second consecutive game out. Tyler Huntley gets another start in his place. Baltimore Beatdown says Jackson is rehabbing the ankle. Neither the Yahoo pieces nor the other feed summaries we have give a return date, and Yahoo's "when will he return" explainer is only summarized here.

Our archive shows Jackson's last appearance was Oct. 4 against Tennessee, a 24-18 win. Baltimore has won both games since, including 30-23 at Atlanta on Oct. 11, so Huntley has already been part of a win. Huntley has played in two games this season. He has completed 32 of 41 passes (78.0%) for 264 yards, 6.4 yards per attempt. That is an efficient but modest line, with a lot of short throws.

The game was live when we pulled the data, and Baltimore led Cleveland 10-0. The Ravens are 4-1 with a three-game winning streak that began with a 34-31 win at Dallas on Sept. 27. Baltimore Beatdown notes that the Ravens are still looking for their first divisional win of 2026, so this game carries extra weight for them.

The stakes are different for Cleveland, which is 3-2 and second in the division after a 17-12 loss at the Jets last week. Dawgs By Nature's Chris Pokorny framed the game as a chance for the Browns to take control of the AFC North again. A loss would leave them two games back. Before that loss, Cleveland beat Pittsburgh 27-24 on Oct. 1 and Carolina 21-18 on Sept. 27, both by three points.

Baltimore Beatdown also points to a possible "revenge game" for Todd Monken, who is Cleveland's head coach this season. It cuts off there, so we can't say what the history is. It adds that "a host of key players on both sides" are dealing with injuries, but the feed excerpt doesn't name them. Yahoo's live blog has the full inactives list.

Both teams have divisional or conference games next on Oct. 25. Cleveland travels to Tennessee, and Baltimore hosts Cincinnati. Jackson's status for the Cincinnati game is the open question, and the reporting we have doesn't answer it.
