The Red Sox have removed the interim label from manager Chad Tracy and signed him to a three-year deal, the team announced Tuesday. Per MLB Trade Rumors, Tracy's contract covers the 2027-29 seasons. Tracy took over for fired manager Alex Cora and guided Boston to a playoff berth in his first year.
The organization also exercised club options on chief baseball officer Craig Breslow for 2029 and 2030, ESPN reported. The moves represent a commitment to the leadership that oversaw the team's turnaround after a midseason shift in direction.
