The Red Sox have finalized their roster for the Wild Card Series, and it includes left-hander Garrett Crochet. Per MLB Trade Rumors, Crochet was officially reinstated from the 60-day injured list, with right-hander Justin Slaten transferred to the 60-day IL to create a 40-man roster spot.
Crochet has not pitched since April 25, according to reporting from Talkin Baseball. The roster does not include outfielder Braiden Ward, per MLB Trade Rumors. Yahoo Sports reported that the Red Sox will face the Yankees in the Wild Card round.
