Red Sox left-hander Payton Tolle pitched an immaculate inning to open Sunday's game against the Kansas City Royals, striking out all three batters he faced. According to Reddit posts documenting the feat, Tolle struck out Loftin looking and both Witt and Caglione swinging.

Yahoo Sports reported that Tolle's perfect inning came just two days after Diamondbacks reliever Justin Martinez also achieved the feat. One Reddit post noted that Tolle threw only fastballs during the immaculate inning.
