The Rays stayed alive Tuesday, and the Brewers can end the World Series tonight. Per Yahoo Sports, Milwaukee clinches with a win in Game 5 at Tropicana Field. Tampa Bay's 4-3 win in Game 4 on Oct. 27 is what forced the extra game.

The starters are Drew Rasmussen for Tampa Bay and Jacob Misiorowski for Milwaukee. One Yahoo Sports thread notes that Rasmussen is pitching on three days' rest. That outlet also says Rasmussen opposes Misiorowski, and it jokes that the name must set some sort of MLB record, though the feed text cuts off before the punchline. The regular-season numbers favor Milwaukee's starter. Misiorowski went 16-5 over 174.2 innings and struck out 252. Rasmussen went 16-5 over 172.0 innings with 174 strikeouts and a 2.67 ERA.

Amazin' Avenue's Micah Noe published both lineups. Tampa Bay bats Yandy Díaz at DH, then Jonathan Aranda at first, Junior Caminero at third, Liam Hicks catching, Jonny DeLuca in center, Chandler Simpson in left, Ben Williamson at second, Ryan Vilade in right and Taylor Walls at short. Milwaukee has Jackson Chourio in left, Jake Bauers at first, Christian Yelich at DH, William Contreras catching, Brice Turang at second and Sal Frelick next. The feed cuts off after Frelick. Our box score fills in the rest of the order: Cooper Pratt at short, Garrett Mitchell in center and David Hamilton at third.

Chourio, who hit .291 with 25 home runs and 75 RBI over 127 games, leads off. Our archive for Game 5 stops in the top of the first. Rasmussen had struck out Chourio and Bauers, and Yelich was due up. It holds no final score, so nothing here describes how the game ended.

The series has swung back and forth in close games. Milwaukee won Game 3 on Oct. 24 by 5-4 and then Game 4 on Oct. 26 by 10-1. That 10-1 game was the one-sided result, and the Rays answered with a one-run win the next night. Milwaukee finished 103-59 and won the NL Central, while Tampa Bay was 98-64 and won the AL East. The Brewers' five-game winning streak ended in Game 4, and the Rays enter Game 5 on a one-game streak.

A Tampa Bay win would send the series back to Milwaukee. Our schedule lists Games 6 and 7 there on Oct. 30 and Oct. 31, though Game 7 would only be played if the series goes that far. For a Brewers win, tonight is the last game.
