Tony Romo and CBS Sports have mutually agreed to part ways, the network announced Friday. Romo had been on leave from his position as an NFL game analyst following his arrest in July on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Per Frank Schwab at Yahoo Sports, Romo was pulled over and charged with OWI on July 23. According to SB Nation, Romo had been paired with play-by-play announcer Jim Nantz and reporter Tracy Wolfson during his tenure at CBS Sports, which spanned nine years.

Pro Football Talk reported that signs point to a negotiated settlement of his contract. JJ Watt will remain on the network's lead NFL broadcast team, per CBS Sports.
