San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Raheem Morris confirmed that Nick Bosa will play in the season opener, ending speculation about the star pass rusher's availability. "He's going," Morris told media at a recent press conference, per Niners Nation. "He'll be there. We're not hiding that."
Bosa tore his ACL in a Sept. 21 game against the Arizona Cardinals last season and underwent surgery on Sept. 26. The 49ers are set to face the Los Angeles Rams in their season opener in Australia, marking Bosa's return to game action. Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn noted the pass rusher had full participation in practice and was "trending in the right direction for Week 1," per Yahoo Sports.
