The Braves will face the Chicago White Sox on Thursday at 2:10 p.m. ET in a makeup game at Rate Field, per multiple outlets. Atlanta is attempting to avoid being swept in the series.
Lane Thomas and Sean Murphy are back in the Braves lineup for the series finale, according to Battery Power. The White Sox will start Anthony Kay, a lefty, on the mound. Grant Holmes is set to start for Atlanta, per ESPN, which noted the pitcher and Braves may struggle in Chicago.
One outlet referenced a "Pokemon card collector battle" between Chris Sale and Misiorowski scheduled for Friday afternoon, suggesting the series will extend beyond Thursday's makeup game.
