Acuña's two-run shot to deep center field was the result of a collision between two Marlins outfielders, per multiple outlets. ESPN described it as being "assisted by Miami's defense," while Sportsnet reported the ball "bounces off multiple Miami Marlins defenders and over the outfield wall." CBS Sports called it a result of "poor outfield communication from the Marlins," questioning whether it could be "MLB blooper of the year."
Matt Olson also homered for the Braves. Mauricio Dubon went 4-for-4 and Michael Harris recorded three hits and three runs scored, per Sportsnet's game recap.
