Huntington Bank Field is the only active stadium in the NFL that has never hosted a postseason game of any kind*. If it doesn't happen before the Browns leave for their new stadium in 2029, it will be just the 2nd permanent home of the super bowl era to have hosted nothing in the postseason.
*Not counting New Highmark Stadium which is in it's first season as we speak. The only other permanent stadium to have never hosted a playoff game was Busch Stadium II, which went 22 season without a Cardinals home playoff game or a Super Bowl from 1966 through the Cardinals departure after 1987. Allegiant Stadium and Mercedes-Benz Stadium avoid this distinction for hosting Super Bowls 58 and 53, respectively. submitted by /u/Romofan88 [link] [comments]
